As a member of our enrichment program, you gain access to the following:
-
Embers cohort: For 4-10 year-old children
Cohort meets two days per week for tutoring and exploratory sessions beginning August through the end of May.
-
Children and families are invited to attend field events every Friday at various locations throughout Horry County. Friday field events are designed by members of our cohorts and provide children in our program with opportunities to explore businesses, locations, and activities in safe and meaningful ways alongside their friends and families. Attendance is optional.
-
Meetings conducted bi-monthly to discuss future events, explore feedback, and offer a welcoming environment and forum for parents to discuss items related to parenting, homeschooling, and whatever else is on their minds.
Students in our cohort prepare the meals that are served during meetings and showcase the work they've done over the course of the month.
Tutors and parents also award and present children with custom-made badges meant to celebrate their various academic and non-academic accomplishments during these meetings.

Members receive newsletters from the founder of Bright Lights Homeschool Enrichment on a monthly basis via email. Newsletters describe monthly events, highlight some of the amazing things we accomplish in our cohort, document lessons we conduct over the course of the month, and provide parents with some thoughts regarding homeschooling, parenting, and living a family-centered life.
